Driftwood, our in-house design and engineering company, received two grants last week. They are now working hard to set up a real life test of the first version of the Safe Seat, an inexpensive suspension seat for high-speed boats. Suspension seats absorb the bumps that a fast-going boat inevitably encounters in uneven sea states, and so prevents back injuries in the crew and passengers.
Erlendur Guðnason is the Founder and Chariman of the Board for Vizido one of the start-ups in Innovation House. Based out of Reykjavik, the Vizido app allows you to remember things and organize yourself without typing a single letter. You can learn more and try out the product at www.vizido.com.
