Recently the family at Innovation House in Eiðistorg grew a little bigger. We are joined by industrial designer Birgir Birgisson and engineering designer Svavar Konráðsson, who together are running the design consultancy Driftwood ehf, and 3D-prentun.is which produces 3D printed parts.
Driftwood is a product design consultancy which also runs its own innovative projects. Currently they are working on a variety of things, some of the most important ones being a sanitation solution for the growing tourism industry in Iceland, a safer seat for RIB boats and a pedal driven commuting vehicle.
The company offers everyone 3D printed parts at very favourable prices.
